The Awatere Christian Joint Venture resulted from the merging of the Anglican & Presbyterian churches of Awatere/Flaxbourne in 1992. Since then we have developed into a community church and today have many denominations represented in our fellowship. Our aim is to know Jesus and to make Him known. This we seek to do by building the community of God within and through the community we live within.
